We are unique.

We are a combination of a consultancy for law firms and a law firm for those seeking help on planning and environmental law.

Our Team.

  • Claire Saffer

    Claire trained at CMS and spent 10 years there before moving a few stops west along the Central Line to Forsters, where she spent 3 years before spotting a gap in the market offering planning law support on a consultancy basis to law firms.

    She has been working on a consultancy basis since 2018.

    Little known facts about Claire are that she (now not so) secretly loves steam trains and likes to don her boxing gloves for some pad work.

  • Paul Thompson

    Paul has been a planning and environmental solicitor since 2006. He founded Path Legal (now planet law services) in 2022.

    He has extensive City experience at CMS and K&L Gates, with start-up/scale-up experience at Temple Bright and he trained at DMH Stallard.

    Fond of all things trees 🌳 water 🌊 and family 👪

  • Rosalind Andrews

    Ros has over 15 years’ experience as a planning and highways solicitor, previously as a Partner and Head of Planning at national firm HCR, and prior to that at Shoosmiths in Birmingham.

    She is recognised as a ‘Leading Partner’ in the West Midlands by Legal 500, and is also a ranked individual for the wider Midlands region in Chambers & Partners.

    She lives in a dilapidated farmhouse in the Herefordshire countryside with her young family and an increasing number of bee hives, and loves art, rock music, and good food.
